How reviews are collected

Where reviews come from

Each review shows where it comes from. “Verified stay”: left by the guest themselves, after arrival, from the personal link received for their booking; only a guest who booked can use it. “Entered by the host”: received another way and copied by LES GERANIUMS, without automatic checks. “Airbnb review”, “Booking.com review”…: left on a booking platform and shown here.

Checks and publication

“Verified stay” reviews are published without prior moderation. LES GERANIUMS does not edit reviews and offers nothing in return for a review. Guests can edit their review from their personal link while it is valid. LES GERANIUMS may reply; the reply is shown under the review.

Order

Reviews are sorted from newest to oldest, with no weighting. A property’s rating is the average of its published reviews. Each review shows its publication date and, when known, the date of the stay.

Unpublished reviews

A review may not be published, or may be withdrawn, for one of these reasons: abusive, defamatory or discriminatory content; personal data of a third party; content unrelated to the stay; author did not stay; request from its author. A review is never withdrawn because it is negative. The author of an unpublished review may ask for the reason: via the website contact form.

How long reviews stay online

Reviews stay online as long as the property is offered on this site, unless their author asks for them to be withdrawn.
